Bellini – restaurant in Liverpool

Bellini is a wonderful place it is an Italian restaurant and all the people who work there are Italian.

This is a crystal ball I liked

Starter – I had some garlic bread and when it came it was a garlic pizza! It was delicious you could taste the garlic but it wasn’t too strong or buttery.

Main – I had a margarita without extra olive oil, no side dishes just a cheese pizza and black pepper, the black pepper was amazing it was strong but not to much, it sort of gave the pizza a fizz. The tomato sauce was also really good you could tell that it wasn’t out of a can or purée it was fresh. They didn’t put on to much cheese it was just right. The base was thin not to crunchy sort of chewy and no burnt bits at all.

After drink – I had an orange chocolate and cinnamon hot chocolate it was gorgeous because it wasn’t a powder it was melted orange chocolate with cinnamon.:)

My review on Minecraft

Minecraft is a computer game where you spawn somewhere in a world where you find creatures like cows, sheep and pigs, you also can travel through landscapes; it could be grasslands or forests or maybe somewhere snowy. Basically your mission is to survive in this world. At night monsters spawn, like zombies and skeletons. It is really fun because you can make so much stuff. You need to mine raw materials and then craft stuff out of it including your tools to build things. So if you want to build a life size leaning tower of Pisa you could make it if you had the time and resources. I like the way everything is in cubes. Overall I give it a 10/10. Climbing in France

I went climbing on some limestone in France in L’Arige it is near the Pyrenees the first place we went to climb was called Dreuilhe and I climbed my first lead climb and it was fairly short and easy but once I nearly slipped.

A lead climb is where you have the rope attached to you and you put in gear, or clip into bolts but if you fall above the bolts you will fall down to where the last bolt or piece of gear is.

The second place I went to was called Roquefixade.

The climb was a bit tricky and overgrown with a bulging lump of rock at the end, although the rock was quite sticky and had lots of little holes everywhere, also because of the heat climbing was much harder, and I was wearing the wrong size climbing shoe so my toes hurt and that also made it harder to climb. I seconded this climb which means you are on a rope that is connected to a bolt at the top so if you slip you won’t fall very far at all.

A cool lizard we found.

My review about French food. (The area I was in was the L’Ariege -It’s near the Pyrenees.)

I am not impressed with their food (I am vegetarian, and it’s a bit hard to find vegetarian food in France except bread and cheese so going out for a meal was very hard since the only vegetarian food in most places is an omelet and I don’t like omelets.) I don’t like any of their cheeses or their brown bread, however their baguettes and their French bread – the crusty long ones – are absolutely scrumptious.

You can trust the snakes but don’t trust the ladders – you might fall through them! (:

My Mum, Dad and I, with some climbers, went to some slate quarries in North Wales.

We started in Dali’s hole then we moved on to California, we then climbed up a chain – a very rusty chain – up to a tunnel that popped out back in Dali’s hole.

We had to search for a secret tunnel that took us to Tasmania. We then climbed up a series of rusty ladders up to a old miners hut which we then had to abseil down a cliff then climb down some more rusty ladders down to the Lost world which we explored.

We found two tunnels one led to Mordor the other led to certain doom. We found the one going to Mordor where there was some really dodgy ladders that went up to Twll mawr  where we climbed up some more rusty ladders avoided the bridge of doom and walked to the car.

Some of the rungs on the ladders were: missing, replaced with old manky rope, rusted to the core – so there would only be a tiny piece of rusted metal, bent, or cracked. Even the entire ladder would be really wobbly!

My favourite part was the Lost world my least favourite bit was the ladders in Mordor.

Game review – Hamsterz 2

Platform: Nintendo DS

The point of the game is to care and play with your hamsters. There are 200 items to buy for your hamster and 32 treasures. Treasures are things which your hamster will need or love, like clippers and sun flower seeds. There are 4 basic breeds of hamsters: golden, dwarf, . . and 90 different fur colours and patterns.

You can play mini games with them which win them clothing accessories, and competitions which win you money.
I found it ok for a bit, but if I played it for too long it got a bit boring (note: I haven’t got very far in the game.) The hamsters’ reactions are very realistic as well as the hamsters themselves. I thought there were some problems with the cages, for instance I bought 4 hamsters, I put the first hamster in the first cage, then i put two hamsters in the second cage, but when i tried to move the fourth hamster into the third cage the second hamster from the second cage moved to the third cage automatically.

So far I give it 6/10.

Food review – Pizza Hut Llandudno Junction.

The pizza I ordered was half the cheese, sweet corn and green peppers on a Italian thin crusty base.
It was lovely, the base was crunchy  yet not too crunchy.I had half the cheese because last time I went there and had the full amount of cheese it was too much – very filling. The side salad was very crunchy and sweet – because I had a lot of sweetcorn.

I tasted some vanilla and caramel milk shake from my Dad. My Dad said it was very nice, I disagreed I think it was  too sweet with not enough punch. Overall I would give them 7/10.

We went camping for solstice at the side of the Carneddau in Egiau valley and went climbing up a multi-pitch climb.There was me, my Mum and my Dad, Tom Racheal, James and Dave, it took 1 hour to get from the car to where we were camping I was carrying food and water, my Dad took the climbing gear and my Mum took the camping gear. The walk there was tiring because my bag was very heavy.

When we got there my Mum and Dad set up the tent and as it was dinner time I ate the sandwiches. After the food we walked  up a mighty great alpiny hill to the bottom of the 1000ft climb where my Dad lead the first pitch.

The name of the climb was Amphitheatre Buttress. We set off last about 7:30pm. The climb was long, well polished and the rock formations were odd.

At one pitch it looked like from a certain angle my Dad stuck his foot above his head and pushed up on it, it was fine though when I got to it. However it was a long climb – we were climbing in the dark towards the end, climbing was a lot harder – it was mildly concerning being dark. At the top it started raining  heavily and was very slippery. The way down was covered in scree and basically was horrible  we made it to our tent at 1:00am I was exhausted however it was a great achievement. The next day I walked to the car feeling relieved. Under different conditions I would climb it again.
